Unique Personal Location Service Ready For Test
CACTUS™ MERGES GPS AND CELLULAR TECHNOLOGY

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA - May 12, 2006 Dexter Holland today announced the preliminary release of CACTUS™, a unique, state-of-the-art personal location service that enables subscribers to easily monitor the location of anyone using their registered cell phones anywhere in the U.S., at any time, day or night.

Developed by Holland's technology start-up company, Personal Location Services, Inc., CACTUS has been in development for 10 years and is being distributed for beta testing prior to full-scale roll out in mid-2006. Interested users can find detailed information and check out a fully functional CACTUS demo at www.cactuslocate.com.

"CACTUS offers reassurance about the safety and security of loved ones," Holland said. "You gain the peace of mind of being able to quickly and easily locate those you care about most as they go about their daily lives."

Users log in to the secure, password-protected CACTUS website and see phone location, direction and speed displayed on a detailed map or satellite photo. CACTUS users can register and monitor up to four phones, and they can access the website from home, the workplace or on the road - anywhere they can connect to the Internet.

Holland, who holds an advanced science degree from the University of Southern California, said he began developing CACTUS in 1995 when he looked for a personal location service to help him protect family members and found nothing available. As he talked to others about his idea, he found that there was widespread demand for the benefits a product like CACTUS can offer.

"The more I read, and the more I saw around me, the more I knew that there would be many uses for this kind of service. I saw stories of handicapped people who became lost or stranded and could not tell anyone where they were because of their disability. I learned about people badly injured in car accidents in the mountains or desert who lay trapped for days because no one knew where they were. I learned about people who survived disasters, such as hurricanes and earthquakes, only to die of their injuries because they could not be found and rescued in time."

In the event of such an emergency, CACTUS is able to reconstruct the trail to a loved one's last known location information that could save a life, Holland said.

Beyond the benefits of enhanced personal and family security, Holland added, CACTUS offers major advantages to employers or volunteer organizations who need a fast, efficient way to locate and dispatch a mobile staff to best meet the needs of clients or respond to fast-changing conditions.

CACTUS uses GPS-equipped Motorola cell phones and transmits location data on the Sprint/Nextel cellular network. Pricing and subscription packages will be announced before final release.
